The influence of his teacher took him to express himself in ways large and distended, just as the symphonic poem for organ, in this view lies the impressive musical fresco Der 94. Psalm - large Sonatas , perfectly similar to the granitic Fantasia und Fuge über den Choral "Ad nos, for salutarem undam" , boundless Liszt masterpiece.
wide composition single theme, divided into four sections ( Grave, Larghetto - Allegro con fuoco, Grave - Adagio, Lento - Allegro, more moves, Allegro assai ) on the text of Psalm 94 "Herr Gott, des die Rache ist, erscheine, "which sounded the same Reubke June 17, 1857 that Friedrich Ladegast organ built between 1853 and 1855 for the Cathedral of Merseburg (Weimar).
The Klaviersonate in b-moll looks like a lengthy process modeled illustration on such as Liszt. The use of the piano works of Reubke was difficult until the edition edited by Paolo Marzocchi Rugginenti and published in 2008, which was based on the careful interpreter for the piano part of this valuable record.
Scandals Luke has used the instrument built by Ladegast between 1868 and 1871 for the cathedral of Schwerin, very similar to that of Merseburg and preserved virtually intact until the restoration took place between 1982 and 1988. One of the best tools to highlight the special features of this impressive repertoire.
combining their considerable artistic talents, the two musicians Marche have shown great respect, combining fierce technique and fine musicality in a comprehensive portrait of the creative Julius Reubke.
complete the disc a few pages "apprenticeship," as the small Trio für Orgel , dating back to 1850; Scherzo and Mazurka for piano dating back to Berlin, and the first draft of the central movement, Adagio of large Sonatas .

ANY CLAIM TO ' ORGANIST LUCA SCANDALS
Teacher Scandals, as we used to listen to the executor of keyboard literature belonging to the XVI-XVIII centuries, why is this "encroachment" footage?
Actually I always proposed tracks and authors without distinction about the historical period to which they belonged by looking instead to pursue other decidedly more subjective criteria. In this regard, much depends on the type and characteristics of the different instruments on where you are from time to time have to be programmed, for example, a concert or a recording. Also for this reason I find far more interesting and challenging comparison with the footage in its entirety. Of course, everything is then contextualised and deepened in the light of contemporary sources on performance practice, just trying to make reading a song writer and a historically accurate and stylistically appropriate and this is true, in my opinion, both for literature Renaissance and Baroque to the Romantic eras. Definitely, this is the aspect that interests me most.
How did the idea to record all the works for piano and organ works by Julius Reubke?
I must say that Sonata organ is one of the organ repertoire of songs that I find most representative and interesting. In particular, the idea of \u200b\u200brecording the work omnia for organ and piano was born thanks to his friend (and fellow student in the class of Composition) Paolo Marzocchi, who had long been included in its concert programs the Piano Sonata . We talked at length about this project and we felt it was important to contribute to knowledge and dissemination of the work of a musician so representative, but strangely, not enough known. One more opportunity then came the recent discovery of the autograph of a new song, 's Adagio , being the first draft of what later became the movement's central Sonata for organ , found in an album that belonged to Marie von Sayn-Wittgenstein and kept at the Goethe-Schiller Archive in Weimar. The latter song was recorded first in the world.
On what issues did you based on your registration?
Regarding the organ work, which has experienced a remarkable expansion, in fact I have relied not only on available sources, including on the new edition (Wiener Urtext), while quella pianistica merita un cenno a parte.
Currently I'm very interested in the early Romantic German repertoire is unfortunately not very well known and valued from their bodies. But I also dedicate myself to the Italian repertoire of the nineteenth century, including pages of great musical interest.
