SUBJECT: Masseria Monti Maddaloni (CE):
"An ecological bomb in an abandoned quarry on the edge of the house and in the commercial area."
this committee as a representative of the interests of common citizens who inhabit the area on which it is the site in question, and in particular to all traders operating in the area from St. Mark's commitment to the SS.265 Maddaloni, subscribed to a document delegation, said that
:
● bodies were formally expressed competent and to you for information in our communication of 16/01/2010 (copy of which is attached), serious concerns about the state of places left in total abandonment and risk to persons working near or passing through occasionally ●
upon the repeated requests made by the people of the whole district has been achieved, albeit belatedly, a first inspection and provisional dell'ARPAC territory charged with the investigation identification of the causes for which the ground rise and spread sour evaporation and left,
● was found and certified by cadmium, the most toxic metals mercury and lead in the vicinity of the quarry, in quantities 100 times greater than normal capable of causing cancer, diabetes, hypertension and impotence (ARPAC source of 07/12/2009 and 12/01/10),
● these findings clearly indicate that agricultural products grown on soils tested, if ingested, would represent a serious danger to people and animals,
● resulted from the same note by the need to carry out a mapping ARPAC capillary area to better define the extent of contamination by cadmium, in particular,
● the bottom of the abandoned quarry, which at that website reaches about 30 meters deep, collects rainwater that flow into the aquifer that emerge locally. ●
in the same water flow into an uncontrolled way and unquantifiable, benzene, toluene and xylene no longer held, as the legend tells, stems buried, now reduced to rust sieve of time,
● part of these volatile organic solvents, aromatic, highly carcinogenic, in the form of fumaroles, comes out in the ether polluted and poisoned with the complicity of the breeze and fog at night people , the amount of land and crops,
● the results of surveys by dell'ARPAC, have shown serious shortcomings by the authorities responsible for environmental protection and safety and physical health of the population.
asks that our delegation will meet with your representative responsible for deepening the argument attraverso i quesiti che di seguito riportiamo e ciò ad esclusivo beneficio dell’efficienza e dell’informazione.
In seguito alla situazione di allarme emersa da oltre un anno di continue segnalazioni e suffragata peraltro dall’accertamento dei rilievi effettuati, i cittadini si domandiamo se :
● sono tuttora giustificate le preoccupazioni in merito ai rischi reali di avvelenamento sia per il consumo delle derrate sia per la respirazione diretta delle esalazioni tossiche diffuse nell’etere,
● in caso affermativo, quali iniziative dovevano essere poste in merito alla sospensione delle coltivazioni e quant’altro previsto in questi casi,
● di conoscere gli eventuali motivi per i quali procedures of securing the site and its subsequent rehabilitation, have never been acted upon. ●
to know in all cases, how the population, in order to permit the adoption of autonomous measures of self-protection, it is officially owned the seriousness of the events of the measures that concern.
